A festive four-day celebration closes out MCT’s 22nd Season and ushers in excitement for its newly announced 23rd Season
MARSHFIELD, MO — Marshfield Community Theatre (MCT) invites the community to celebrate the season with its 5th annual Holly Jolly Holiday Weekend, a four-day festival of performances and holiday cheer taking place December 12–14 at the Jubilee Theater Center. Anchored by the beloved one-act production of A Charlie Brown Christmas, the weekend also features special events designed to highlight local performers, celebrate community traditions, and welcome families to enjoy the magic of theatre during the holidays.
The Holly Jolly Holiday Weekend marks the grand finale of MCT’s 22nd Season, a year filled with community performances, new programming, and milestones for the organization. With this celebration, MCT wraps one season while looking ahead to an exciting and ambitious 23rd Season, beginning January 2026.
Weekend Lineup
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Performances: Dec. 11-13 at 7 PM and Dec. 14 at 3 PM
This heartwarming stage adaptation of the classic television special brings Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the whole Peanuts gang to life as they discover the true meaning of Christmas. Filled with nostalgia, humor, and the spirit of the season, this one-act performance is perfect for audiences of all ages.
Thursday, Dec. 11 — Embracing Abilities Showcase
MCT kicks off the weekend by shining a spotlight on performers of all abilities. The Embracing Abilities Showcase invites community members to share singing, dancing, poetry, instrumental music, and more. This uplifting evening highlights inclusivity, creativity, and the joy of performing.
Friday, Dec. 12 — Yuletide Traditions
This cozy evening event features community members sharing their favorite holiday traditions—stories, memories, music, and cultural celebrations that make this season meaningful. It’s a warm and heartfelt night perfect for the whole family.
Friday, Dec. 13 —
The weekend continues with Jingle Jams, a toe-tapping holiday concert featuring local performers singing their favorite festive songs. It’s the perfect way to jam out to your favorite holiday tunes.
Sunday, Dec. 15 — Holly Jolly Holiday Pageant
Taking place immediately after the 3 PM performance of A Charlie Brown Christmas, the Holly Jolly Holiday Pageant welcomes younger divisions to take the stage and celebrate confidence and holiday spirit. This follows the successful debut of MCT’s Miss Merry Christmas and Junior Miss Merry Christmas Pageant for older age groups.

As MCT wraps its 22nd Season, the theatre has already announced a full and exciting 23rd Season, launching in January 2026. The lineup includes a mix of comedies, mysteries, musicals, youth programming, and family favorites:

Heart of the Stage Studio Series
In addition to these productions, MCT will present six one-night Heart of the Stage Studio fundraising events, offering intimate cabaret-style performances throughout the year.
