Synopsis
Synopsis: As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus’s master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him.

Who we’re looking for
We’re casting 20–30 talented individuals for a variety of roles, including principal and featured roles, as well as vocal and dance ensemble members. We are primarily looking for late teens and adults, but also seek to cast a small youth ensemble consisting of anyone as young as those who have just completed 5th grade.
What to expect
Everyone should prepare a 1-minute vocal selection to sing at their audition. We may also teach a short dance sequence, if needed. Anyone interested in a principal role will be asked to do a cold read from the show.

CHORUS
When actors aren’t in the scene, they form the CHORUS, playing the Oracle’s ECHOES, Medusa’s STATUES, THE DEAD in the Underworld, etc. These groups will also be supplemented by the ensemble.
