Audition Dates: Aug. 30 & 31, 2026

Time: 6 PM

Callbacks (if needed): Sept. 1, 2026

Location: Marshfield Community Theatre, Studio M, 109 Commercial Street, Marshfield, MO

Performance Dates: Oct. 29-30 at 7 PM, Oct. 31 at 10 PM

Who we’re looking for

We’re casting 14 talented individuals to fulfill the roles for this production. Everyone ages 18+ are able to audition. We are looking for people with strong vocal control and dramatic acting skills. Dance experience is a plus.

What to expect

Everyone should prepare a 1-minute vocal selection to sing at their audition. We may also teach a short dance sequence, if needed. All audition attendees will be asked to do a cold read from the show.

About the Show

Carrie White is a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power, and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it.
