We’re so excited to announce our upcoming sessions designed for all ages who love to sing, dance, and act!
Whether you’re new to the stage or ready to keep growing as a performer, we’d love to have you join us!
Note: We are currently working on a new education class for younger performers that we will share soon. We are working around schedules for productions to make sure we can do the most when we get into class! Stay tuned for more!
Parent & Child Theatre Class
A once-a-week class for our youngest performers to explore dance, music, acting, and crafts in a fun, creative setting! This free class is an exciting way for your kids to explore different aspects of theatre.
Note: This class is paused for the winter, and we’ll announced its return in the spring soon!
Instructor: Samantha VanWyhe
Ages: 0+
Time: Fridays at 9 AM, schedules will be posted monthly with conflicts and holidays.
Location: Studio M at the Jubilee Theatre

Acting 1
Sundays | 3:30-4:30
Dates: March 1, 8, 22, 29, April 5, 12
Ages: 12 and up (including adults)
Instructor: Kelby Lorenz
Location: MCT Main Stage
Cost: $60/student ($50 for members)
This course is a six-week intensive designed to help beginner and intermediate students better understand the components of acting to grow their confidence as performers and prepare them for future auditions.

Adult Musical Theatre 101

Ages 18+

Location: Studio M at the Jubilee Theater Center
Cost: $40/adult ($30 for members)
Join our fun and welcoming 4-week session to explore the world of musical theater! Learn basic vocal techniques, stage movement, and acting in a supportive environment. Perfect for beginners or anyone who’s always wanted to try performing!

This course will develop skills around the building blocks of acting, how to develop well-rounded characters, and selecting and preparing a monologue for auditions. Across these six weeks, students will develop a single monologue that can be used in auditions.
In this course, we will cover:
Monologue selections
Script analysis
Physicality & stage movement
Internal motivations for characters
Tackling character dilemma
How to prep for your next audition

We will teach fundamentals for acting, singing, and dance to get students familiar with the components of musical theatre, in a way that builds upon itself to create a well-rounded education of theatre basics.

Stage movement fundamentals
Vocal fundamentals
Dance fundamentals
